Health Is Wealth

Times have changed and so should your budget. Be more mindful of where your money is going now and adjust your budget to fit your current situation. Instead of giving you the traditional advice I want to break from the norm.

Taking care of yourself is more important than ever. Health really is wealth. Especially since we don't know when or if there will be another stimulus check coming. In the wake of this ongoing pandemic, the best thing you can do is start or continue your self-care practice.

We all know we should be exercising and eating better but what about taking care of your mind?

Learn to Meditate:

Meditation won’t solve all of your problems, but mindfulness can help, especially with anxiety, stress, and helping you stay in the moment. It's important to block out the noise and quiet your mind and anxiety. It is tough “going" to work every day, running a business, and/or taking care of your family. Personally, some days I'm stressed, some days I'm relaxed but every day I'm doing my best to meditate. My business focuses on financial health but we believe in mental health just as much. Here are some ways to get a few of my favorite meditation apps FREE and/or cheap!

Calm Resources:⠀

The Calm App is amazing because it includes guided meditations for everything!! Stress, anxiety, gratitude, happiness and so much more. They also have a star-studded lineup of voices I'm loving, like Matthew McConaughey and Lebron James just to name a few. I have been learning to meditate in their 30-day program and falling asleep faster via their sleep stories. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My daughter has been listening to Lebron James' rain on leaves mix and drifting off to dreamland with peaceful piano lullabies from five Disney Music classics—Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Mulan.
